Hannibal Missouri is the boyhood home of the famous author, Mark Twain. Located along the Mississippi River, visitors can experience many of the same adventures Mark Twain had as a boy, as well as some of those that Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer had too! Cruise on a riverboat, visit the Mark Twain Museum and Twain sites, explore the cave Tom Sawyer and Becky Thatcher got lost in. Hannibal also has wonderful shopping in Historic Downtown. And if one day is not enough, spend the night at one of the historic Bed and Breakfasts located in town. Many annual events and festivals are held in Hannibal throughout the year.
