The Village of Maryville, Illinois is located in Madison County, about 23 minutes east of Downtown St Louis via Interstate 70. Important roads to the community are Highways 159 and 162, Vadalbene Drive, Keebler Road, Pleasant Ridge Road, Main Street and others. The Village of Maryville was officially incorporated in 1902.
The residents of the Village of Maryville are served by the Collinsville Unit #10 School District. The district consists of Collinsville High School, Dorris Intermediate School, Collinsville Middle School and Maryville Elementary School. Two private school are also available, Maryville Christian School and St John Neumann Catholic School. Both schools have classes for grades Kindergarten to 8th. St John has preschool as well.
The Village of Maryville maintains five parks, several of which are still in the development stages. Drost Park is the most developed of the five and features a 7-acre fishing lake with a boat ramp and fishing piers, 3 miles of paved trails, pavilions with picnic facilities, 8 ball fields, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, bocce court, several gazebos, playgrounds and access to the MCT Schoolhouse Trail. Several of the parks will also have access to the MCT Bike Trails as it is further developed.
