The National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows is owned and operated by the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate. The Shrine is one of the largest outdoor shrines in North America and is visited by over a million people each year. The shrine blends spirituality, unique architecture, and imaginative landscaping to create a serene setting. Fourteen devotional areas throughout the grounds offer visitors places for quiet reflection for all faiths and denominations. Each Christmas season, the Shrine puts on a beautiful Christmas light display called "The Way of Lights" and many other events open to the public that are held throughout the year.
The Shrine is open year-round and has a meeting/banquet space - the Guild House, a gift shop, and on-site lodging - the Shrine Guesthouse. Daily masses are also offered year round, several times on some days, at the Church of Our Lady of the Snows. Hours for the shrine are 6am-10pm every day. There is NO admission fee. See website for more information.
