OakGlenn Winery was established in Hermann Missouri by George Husmann. In 1847 he planted his first vineyard on his father's farm and later went on to become a renowned international horticulturist, author and educator. The winery still carefully tends five rows of Norton vines that George Husmann planted himself. OakGlenn Winery is open year round and hosts special food and wine pairing events along with 7 other "Hermann Wine Trail" wineries. Every weekend in May through October, live musical entertainment can be enjoyed on the patio overlooking the Missouri River. There is a cover charge for entertainment.
