Rend Lake is a Midwest sportsman's paradise. The Rend Lake Golf Course features 27 holes, a pro shop, and a lighted driving range. There is a sate of the art shooting range with 38 sporting clay stations, 2 towers, 2 elevated stands, 7 trap machines, lighted skeet field, shooters pro shop and more. The 3D archery range features 20 targets and is ADA accessible. Some of the best public waterfowl hunting is located at the Rend Lake Hunting Preserve. Rend Lake offers seven camping areas, including the Wayne Fitzgerrell State Park, for tent or trailer, many with water, electric and other facilities. Of course boating and fishing are available. There are number of marinas and boat launches. Anglers will find an abundance of bass, crappie, blue gill, and catfish.
