The Lewis and Clark Boat House and Museum is located in St. Charles, Missouri on the Missouri River at Bishop's Landing. The Musuem houses the Lewis and Clark Museum where visitors can view dioramas illustrating scenes from the Lewis and Clark Expedition, Native American life and various Missouri River habitats that Lewis and Clark discovered during their journey. Replicas of the boats used by Lewis and Clark, which were also used during reenactments of the expedition are on display at the museum, as well. The Visitor' Shop is loaded with souvenirs and books relating to Lewis and Clark that can be purchased.
Musuem Hours are Monday-Saturday 10am-5pm; Sunday Noon-5pm. The Center is closed on New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. Tours are self guided and an admission fee is charged.
