The Cathedral of Saint Peter is a Catholic church and is located in Belleville Illinois. The Cathedral holds Mass on Saturday night, Sunday morning and evening, as well as daily weekday Mass services.

The Cathedral was originally a brick structure, built and dedicated in 1866. The present Gothic limestone building was built around the brick structure in 1956 and was modeled after the Exeter Cathedral in the city of Exeter in Devon, England. The Cathedral of Saint Peter is considered the "mother church" of the Diocese of Belleville.
