Tour of Missouri
***THE TOUR OF MISSOURI IS NO LONGER HELD AS OF 2010***
The Tour of Missouri was first run in 2007 and has quickly gained momentum. It is recognized as a world-class professional cycling race that takes place over 7 days across the state of Missouri. Lt. Governor Peter Kinder was instrumental in getting this event established. Over 500,000 spectators witness the race first hand. The annual economic impact for the state has been estimated to be over $38 million.
