Mardi Gras Purina Pet Parade
The Mardi Gras Purina Pet Parade (formerly known as the Beggin Barkus Parade) is a parade just for your pooch (of course you are invited too!). This parade is billed as the largest pet parade in North America. The parade rolls right through the heart of Soulard. What you will see: Lots of different people with their dogs who will mostly be dressed up for Mardi Gras. It's a great time - family friendly. Woof Woof! Laissez les bons temps rouler! (Let the good times roll!) A registration "donation" is charged and goes to benefit Open Door Animal Sanctuary, but it's FREE to be a spectator! See website for more information.
